Tod Mott is a humble man. When we sat down with him to learn his story and found out that he basically brought the modern day IPA to the east coast of New England with his recipe for the Harpoon IPA (made in 1992). And then Tod went on to make the legendary stout, Kate The Great, one of the first, if not the first beer, where people lined up for hours when it was released bi-annually. But when we talked with Tod there was no bragging or bravado; he was just a chill guy who has a deep, deep passion for making the best beer possible. We wanted to share that passion with our short film about what we learned is ultimately the secret to great beer. Hope you enjoy it with a pint!
