    License Terms

  • Q: What if we only need photos, or only need video?
A: No problem. We offer three tracks: Photo-only, Video-only, or a combined Photo + Video package. Each has starter and expanded options depending on the amount of content you need.

Q: Do you handle location, talent, or props?
A: Most small businesses prefer to manage these directly for cost savings, since many already have a space, employees, or products ready to feature. That said, we can absolutely handle casting, scouting, or rentals if needed and will quote those items separately.

Q: How are these packages priced?
A: We bundle creative, production, and editing into simple flat-rate packages, so you know your investment up front. Behind the scenes, our pricing is grounded in a consistent $200/hour structure, which keeps everything scalable and transparent.

Q: How long does turnaround usually take?
A: We typically aim for 2–3 weeks depending on scope and revisions. While some projects can be turned around faster, we build in buffer time to ensure quality and avoid rushing if things get busy.

Q: Do we own the content?
A: Deliverables are provided under a 1-year marketing license by default. Extended or perpetual licenses can be arranged if needed. This approach keeps costs flexible—businesses only pay for the usage rights they need.

Q: Why is the content “licensed” and why does it matter?
A: Licensing is how we define the rights your business has to use the photos and videos we create. Instead of “owning” the raw content outright, you’re granted a license to use the final deliverables for a set period of time (our standard is 1 year for marketing use). This isn’t unique to us—it’s the industry standard when working with professional photographers and filmmakers. Licensing ensures the work stays viable and sustainable for creators, while keeping costs fair for businesses. If you ever need more time or broader rights, licenses can be extended or upgraded.

Q: What if we want more photos than what’s included?
A: Every package comes with a set number of retouched photos. If you’d like additional images from the shoot, we license them at $100 per photo. This keeps your upfront costs down while giving you the flexibility to add exactly what you need after reviewing the proofs.

Q: What if we want more video than what’s included?
A: Packages include a set number of edited short-form videos, but additional edits can be created from the same footage. Pricing depends on the scope—quick social clips may just be a few extra hours, while a longer video requires more editing time. We’ll quote additional video work at the same $200/hour structure so you can scale up as needed.

Q: What gear do you use?
A: We use the most appropriate tools for the job, including the Sony a9 III mirrorless system, Canon C200 cinema camera, DJI drones, gimbal and handheld rigs, and a Godox flash kit.

Q: Can we get a completely custom quote?
A: Absolutely. Packages are just starting points. Whether you need 10 quick drone clips for social or a 2-minute brand film, we’ll scope and price it to fit your vision. If you can dream it, we can build it.

Q: How do your small business packages compare to the larger campaigns you produce for national brands?
A: The small business packages are designed to be streamlined—solo filmmakers, clear flat-rate pricing, and quick turnarounds—while still delivering cinematic, high-quality content. Our larger campaigns for household-name brands often involve bigger crews, multi-day shoots, agency collaboration, and complex logistics. The difference is in the scale of production, not the level of care or creativity we bring to the work.
